This is Ken and Mary’s Tree in Biei and its surroundings. It’s famous from advertisements, but it didn’t look any different from an ordinary tree. Since this is a cold region, the landscape felt barren like winter even though spring is in full bloom in South Korea, making the scenery even less impressive. I wonder if this place is really worth including in a tourist course.

비에이에 있는 켄과 메리의 나무와 그 주변입니다. 광고에 나와 유명한 나무라고 하는데 보통의 나무와 다를 바가 없었습니다. 그리고 여기는 추운 지역이라 그런지 한국에서는 봄이 한창인데 여기는 겨울처럼 황량한 풍경이어서 더더욱 경치가 별로였습니다. 굳이 이런 곳이 관광코스에 들어갈만한 가치가 있는지 의아합니다.
